New Patients

The majority of our patients are referred to our practice by their dentist or physician for evaluation and treatment of an oral health condition. Oral Surgery involves treating a wide variety of dental and medical problems. Most patients first see us in the office. However, we are called to the hospital to attend to patients with more serious conditions.

Initial Consultation Visit: Your first office appointment is usually a consultation. The doctor will review your medical history and do an examination. If the evaluation includes dental x-rays which were taken by your dentist or medical x-rays (CT scan, etc.) taken at a medical facility, please bring them with you. Our staff can often assist you with this. When necessary, we will take additional x-rays.

WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT: inform our office if you have a medical condition such as high blood pressure, a heart condition, diabetes, an artificial heart valve or artificial joint. Also, please tell us if you take heart medications, aspirin or other blood thinners.

Patients who plan to have IV Anesthesia for surgery must have a consultation visit.

ALL PATIENTS UNDER AGE 18
MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN.

PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING TO YOUR FIRST VISIT:
